Class Offerings...

Basic Manners/Puppy
Class – 6 weeks – 1 hour
For puppies 2 months to 6 months of age. Emphasis is on
socialization with people and other pups, play training,
housebreaking and problem solving. The puppy is introduced
basic obedience commands, including sit, down, come, stand,
and walking on leash.
Novice I – 6 weeks – 1-hour
For dogs and puppies six months of age (5 months if previously
enrolled in a Puppy Class) and older. Novice I teaches your
dog some basic attention skills that are necessary for a well
behaved companion. Formal heeling, sit stays, down stays,
stand for exam, and the formal recall are taught in this
class.
Novice II – 6 weeks – 1 hour
Basic attention is taught to the dog/handler team. Heeling,
the formal Figure 8 is introduced; class will work towards
off-leash heeling. Off leash stays are practiced. The formal
stand for exam is taught. The finish is added to the come and
sit front to result in a formal recall.
Open - 6 weeks – 1-1/2 hours
This class is for those interested in obedience competition at
the Open Class level. Beginning basics of all the Open Class
exercises will be taught.
